My strength is not pastry or breads, however, this recipe is very easy to make, and you can now enjoy your new HERO status from both friends and family.
By the way, you can interchange your meat of choice, or even vegetable of choice, with this recipe. How easy is that?
Let us start with a loaf of choice – let’s go with a multi-grain.· Begin to cut long ways right down the middle, and use a sharp small tooth serrated edged knife at least 6-8 inches in length.
Apply a nice brushing or spray of olive oil (liberally) over each half.· In this recipe, I use freshly pre-grated ·Parmesan, baby spinach, and medium-sized shrimp, white pepper, garlic salt, sea salt, and Old Bay seasoning — that’s ·it.
Ingredients:
2 lbs of medium-sized shrimp
5 oz of baby spinach leaves
1 tsp of Old Bay seasoning
1/3 cup of olive oil
½ cup of fresh grated or pre-grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbl spoon garlic salt
Instructions:
After brushing bread, sprinkle half of the cheese over bread, and next place spinach leaves over all of the surface area.· Mix remainder of ingredients in a small bowl including shrimp, while pre-heating oven or grill to 450 degrees. Spread the mixture over both bread halves evenly and place in oven to cook/brown.· You should not over cook, but bring to a nice browning, which should take 4 – 7 minutes depending on your oven.
Enjoy!
