Who: Broadway Series at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex
What: Disney’s The Lion King. The Tony® Award-winning Broadway sensation comes to Birmingham. Experience the phenomenon: Visually stunning, technically astounding, where giraffes strut, birds swoop, and gazelles leap. The entire savannah comes to life and as the music soars, Pride Rock slowly emerges from the mist. Who: Artwalk 2005
What: Artwalk is an arts festival that transforms Birmingham’s loft neighborhood into an arts district, featuring the work of more than 100 visual artists, live musicians, street performers, food and drink vendors, and children’s activities.
Where: Birmingham’s Downtown Loft District, from Morris Avenue to Second Avenue North between 22nd & 25th Streets

Who: Birmingham Museum of Art and Protective Life Corporation
What: Art on the Rocks, featuring artist Todd Snider and the theme “The Print Fair.” Art on the Rocks features some of the nation’s most “buzzworthy” musical acts, tempting and unique hors d’oeuvres, hands-on creative opportunities, drinks, and of course, the finest art available for viewing in Alabama.
