ABOUT THE SERIES

The Lunch & Learn C-Series (Culture, Commerce & Communications) of Transformation Birmingham is designed to foster understanding of the root causes of issues facing Birmingham's African American community and the city at large.

By understanding the causes, we can work collaboratively to solve issues like historic poverty and economic disparities, achievement gaps in education, environmental injustice and health disparities caused by patterns that defined Birmingham in the past.

Each quarter, the C-Series will present select movies and documentaries for spirited round-table discussions about potential plans of action to solve these problems.
