Guest on the show will call in from a very special setting of "SUPPER WITH THE FOOT SOLDIERS," a monthly meeting, hosted by the show's radio personalities, that brings together foot soldiers, icons and leaders of the Civil Rights Movement and the community for dinner, discussions and decisions at Z's Restaurant in downtown Birmingham.
Radio hosts Sephira Shuttlesworth and guest hosts of From The Mountain To The Valley Radio Broadcast team will call into the show with interviews from special guests who will be joining SUPPER WITH THE FOOT SOLDIERS.
Those special guests include former Birmingham Mayor Richard Arrington, Jr., the first black mayor elected as a direct result of the Movement, and current Mayor William A. Bell, Sr.
Attorney W.L. Williams, one of the city’s leading civil rights attorneys from the 1963 era, who debuted with the radio show a year ago, will also be at the Supper. Additional guests include Gadsden City Councilor Robert Avery, who as a child participated in that city’s own civil rights demonstrations in 1963.
